Isolating sleepers instead of Isolating tracks shoes
Normally you would isolate tracks with plastic track shoes provided by track suplliers like Peco does. A tiny piece of plastic separates the two tracks. This leads to rather visible breaks in the track. They are also quite tidious to mount. And you still have to trim of the last sleepers on either side and install them as single sleepers (and also trimmed flat) afterward again.
This is why these isolating sleeprs come handy: they are one piece with both track shoes together with the two sleepers on either side. Additionally the isolating bit is so tiny that the visual break is minimal.
And they are modelled as wooden sleepers like the neighbouring ones from Peco.

Different types for points and curved points (turnouts)
The sleepers for points are trimmed of in an angle and shortened to fit exactly. So you will understand and see rather obvious how to align them for the straght track and the turning track.
To isolate a Peco point (turnout) on all three sides you will need an additional isolating sleeper for straights in addition to the pair for points.

Tip Replacement set for the setting threshold of Peco points:
The same supplier also offers a replacement set for the setting threshold of points. If you prefer a more elegant prototypical arrangement of the sleepers and a setting threshold with a setting hole in the middle rather that outside of the tracks, then you should consider to upgrade you points with this kit which is also available in this shop (different kit for right hand and left hand points).
